Frequently Asked Questions
Can I Display My Nativity?
The Interfaith Nativity is always happy to see new nativities! If you’d like to display a nativity in our 2016 Exhibit, please bring it to 3460 Carter Hill Road, Montgomery on Saturday November 19 from 10 am to 4 pm or Monday November 21 between 10 am and 6 pm. For your protection, each nativity should be carefully packed in a sturdy box which includes your contact information.
How Do You Keep Track of So Many Nativities?
When you bring your nativity, we’ll photograph it and assign it a check-in card with an identifying number. Then we’ll print up a place card with your name and some information about the nativity for the display.
How Do You Get Nativities From So Many Countries?
Many foreign nativities belong to military families who found these treasures while they were stationed abroad. Others were purchased while people were on business trips, vacations, or missions. Some dearly-beloved nativities belong to immigrants who brought a bit of their home countries with them when they came to the United States.
Can I Bring Children?
We welcome children at the Interfaith Nativity Exhibit! Every year we make a special effort to find and display nativities for or by children. Some of these are grouped together and others are spread throughout the rest of the display. For safety and the protection of the nativities, please keep children with you at all times in the Exhibit.
Is It Okay To Bring a Group To View the Nativities?
Yes, we’re always glad to see church groups, school groups, clubs, families, and friends.
Do I Need A Reservation or Ticket to Attend?
No reservation or ticket is required for groups under 100. Groups over 100 can leave a message about your plans at firstname.lastname@example.org. Admission is always free.
